Position Overview

BharatCares is looking for an experienced and dynamic Manager – CSR & Water Programs to lead the implementation and management of water-focused CSR initiatives in Hyderabad and project locations.

The role will involve project implementation, team management, stakeholder engagement, government liaisoning, proposal development, MIS and reporting, along with regular field engagement. The ideal candidate should have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and be comfortable travelling extensively as required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Implementation

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of CSR and water-related programs.
• Develop and execute project plans, activity schedules, and implementation strategies.
• Monitor project progress against agreed timelines, targets, and deliverables.
• Ensure quality and timely execution of field activities.
• Identify implementation challenges and develop appropriate solutions.

2. Water Program Management

• Support and manage initiatives related to water conservation, water access, WASH, groundwater management, rainwater harvesting, community water systems, and related interventions.
• Coordinate with technical teams, implementation partners, and communities for effective execution.
• Monitor field-level outcomes and ensure alignment with project objectives.

3. Stakeholder & Government Engagement

• Build and maintain relationships with government departments, local authorities, communities, CSR partners, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate with relevant government officials and departments for project implementation and approvals.
• Manage government liaisoning and convergence opportunities for project activities.
• Represent BharatCares in stakeholder meetings, consultations, and project reviews.

4. Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and supervise project team members and field staff.
• Allocate responsibilities and monitor individual and team performance.
• Conduct regular team reviews and provide guidance to ensure project targets are achieved.
• Build a collaborative and accountable team environment.

5. Proposal & Report Writing

• Develop project proposals, concept notes, budgets, presentations, and donor documents.
• Prepare periodic project reports, progress updates, and impact reports.
• Develop case studies, success stories, and project documentation.
• Ensure reports are accurate, evidence-based, and submitted within timelines.

6. MIS, Data & Monitoring

• Maintain project MIS and ensure timely and accurate data collection.
• Monitor project indicators, outputs, outcomes, and targets.
• Review field data and prepare dashboards and management reports.
• Use data and field insights to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.

7. Field Coordination & Travel

• Conduct regular field visits to monitor project activities and interact with communities.
• Coordinate with field teams and implementation partners across project locations.
• Be open to frequent travel as required by project requirements.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Development Studies, Environmental Science, Water Management, Sustainability, Management, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in CSR, NGO, development-sector, water, WASH, sustainability, or community development programs.
• Demonstrated experience in project implementation and team management.
• Experience in stakeholder management and government liaisoning.
• Strong proposal, concept note, report writing, and documentation skills.
• Good understanding of MIS, data tracking, and project reporting.
• Fluency in the local language is mandatory/preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively to project locations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
